True me.. Tap-1066..

The real glow up isn’t proving the people from your past wrong.
It is finally feeling so content and hopeful about your future that you stop thinking about them entirely.
When you want to change your life in order for it to look different, and only that, you are still orbiting around the opinions of people who didn’t love you, and didn’t have any intention to.

A real glow up is authentic.
It is lifting off all the cover-up bullshit and addressing the real problems.
It is healing.
It is changing, for good.
It is, for the first time, prioritizing your heart over someone else’s eyes.
The real glow up is realizing that you have nobody to prove wrong but yourself. (Not my words.)

Be silent if your words will offend a person.
Be silent if your words convey the wrong impression.
Be silent in the heat of anger.
Be silent when you are feeling critical.

How many times have we done something “wrong” and then regretted it later?
As long as we learn something from it, the experience is not wasted.
We aren’t perfect.
We are here to learn from our mistakes and imperfections, not beat ourselves up for them.

Think about how to alter your regrets into lessons for the future.
Nobody is perfect.
As long as we continue to strive to be better, our imperfections are part of our journey.

Hate no one, no matter how much they’ve wronged you.
Live humbly, no matter how rich you become.
Think positively, no matter how hard life is.
Give much, even if you’ve been given little.
Forgive all, especially yourself.
And never stop praying & wishing the best for everyone.
There’s no bigger form of wealth compared to GOOD WISHES.

(This video got nothing to do with the post above. It’s about omicron variant. And so many people are testing postive even after getting vaccinated. See this video to get little knowledge about what’s next. It’s more transmissive, but less lethal. Still follow the government guidelines & take care of yourself.)

Everyone of us has done something wrong in life.
We have hurted people.
We all regret our wrongdoings.

But, very few of us are BRAVE enough to say SORRY in a meaningful way & ask forgiveness. My respect for such people never falls short, because regret makes no difference if you can’t change your approach for the better.

To choose forgiveness requires that we fight back our human desire for revenge.
– Dr. John Perkins.

(Luca my brother, I never hated you & i am not strong enough to hate anyone. This date 21-12-21 & this tiny post is dedicated to you.)

Stay away from those who criticize, point fingers or put you down.
Stay away from those who try to tell you who you are, what you do wrong, or how you can or can’t feel.
They are choosing to be emotional bullies and walk the path of negativity.
Let them keep that while you take the high road.
Refuse to be abused, even when it’s with words.
Real people are good with their approach towards you consistently, period.

We have to realize that our lives could be gone in a moment.
There are no guarantees that we will be here at this time next year.
Learn to live each day to the fullest.
Don’t complain.
Don’t focus on what’s right or wrong.
Be grateful for the opportunity to experience each day.

It’s been 5 years & i am always in a different city/country at this time of the year. I met some amazing people & lost touch with few. Most of them helped me shape & build what i am today. I can’t change everything & i accept what’s coming wholeheartedly. At the end i must agree, life is beautiful & i am grateful.
